Performance
Angelina Lynne is a versatile singer, musician, and educator. As a classically trained soprano, she enjoys singing many genres including musical theatre, opera, jazz, gospel and folk and frequently performs with harpist, Yu-Fen Liu in Duo Fleur d'Ange. duofleurdange.com

Lynne is an avid performer and has performed nationally and internationally in various recitals, concerts and festivals that include the Barcelona Festival of Song, the Al Ain Music Festival (United Arab Emirates), the Bach-Handel Festival (Virginia), the Halifax Summer Opera Festival, Festival Gospel de Sherbrooke (Québec), SummerSounds@Barrington, Rhinestone Entertainment Productions, Casa de cultura (Mexico), Opera New Brunswick, Opera Factory-New Zealand, Len Lye the opera world premiere: The Maidment Theatre in Auckland, NZ, The Hazy Grape Theatre Collective, Ensemble 27-Le musée des beaux arts de Québec, and Les micros-shows de Beaupré. She is an alumni of summer voice programs Classical Singing and New York in June, The Vancouver International Song Institute and the Arabic Music Retreat (Massachusetts), where she studied Arabic music and singing techniques with Abeer Nehme and Simon Shaheen.
While living in the United Arab Emirates, Angelina was a frequent soloist with the Al Ain Chamber Orchestra and the Garden City Jazz Quintet, working closely with Romanian composer and conductor Dan Turcanu.

Angelina is the recipient of various awards including the National Association of Teachers of Singing (First Prize, 2009) artsNB grant (2012), The Bach-Handel Festival Competition (2017) and the Canada Research Chair in Music in Community (SSHRC).

Choral Music
Angelina Lynne's affinity for choral music began while singing with the acclaimed Hillsborough Girls' Choir and madrigal ensemble under the direction of Ruth Boswell Schiller (Member of the Order of Canada), with whom she was privileged to perform at Carnegie Hall, Walt Disney World, and the Canterbury Cathedral in England among others. She is a featured soloist on their album Children of the Tides. She has also performed with Auckland's renowned Musica Sacra and Chœur SILOE, a gospel choir in Québec City. As a chorister, she has participated in numerous choral masterclasses, including The King's Singers, Rajaton, Doreen Rao, Bob Chilcott, and Jean Ashworth Bartle.

Education
Angelina Lynne holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Auckland in New Zealand where she studied under acclaimed soprano, Patricia Wright, and a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University in Canada, where she studied voice performance (Dr. Helen Pridmore, Peter Groom) and piano performance (Dr. David Rogosin, Dr. Stephen Runge). Her studies also include doctoral coursework in voice science, pedagogy and performance from Shenandoah University in Virginia (Dr. David Meyer) and Université Laval in Québec (Jean-François Lapointe), choral conducting from Université de Sherbrooke, QC (Robert Ingari) and a Faculty Teaching Certificate focusing on curriculum creation and student-centred learning from the American University of Sharjah, UAE. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Music Education at Université Laval (Dr. Valerie Peters and Dr. Andrea Creech) and is a graduate research assistant to both Dr. Andréanne Sharp at the CERVO Brain Research Centre where she facilitates online piano lessons in a project exploring improving the quality of life of hard-of-hearing older adults through musical workshops and also to Dr. Andrea Creech for the Creative Later Life in a Digital Age research project: e938ff3b-3635-4dc8-987b-ef5cc873f089.filesusr.com/ugd/821223_482e7c51c0b84e1b805adf79d538ad96.pdf
Teaching
As a music educator and lifelong learner, Angelina’s passion for music has taken her across the globe. Passing on her love of singing to the next generation is paramount. She has served as artistic director and vocal coach for various musical theatre productions and youth choirs in Canada and Belgium. Other music teaching experiences include working with children and youth at the Lillian Trasher Orphanage in Egypt, Al MADAR International School in the UAE, Montessori Schools. Angelina continues to give various music workshops in her community, and pursues her interest in cross-cultural vocal techniques and global musics. She maintains an active music studio teaching voice and piano in French and English. Her love of singing is contagious as she encourages people of all ages to use their voices and sing for joy!
